Francisco Diaz and Adapt2 Solutions today announced a $15,000 donation to the Greater Houston/Harris County 2021 Winter Storm Relief Fund.
HOUSTON, Texas (February 24, 2021) – As a Houston native, founder of Adapt2 Solutions, Francisco Diaz has been through many natural disasters that have devastated the Houston community. The recent winter storm and the hardships it caused for many local families compelled Diaz to respond to Mayor Turner’s request for donations and to contribute to the Winter Storm Relief Fund. The fund is focused on grantmaking to local nonprofits to help meet the needs of families who need additional help recovering from home repairs, temporary housing, and other basic human needs.
“I love Houston, this is my home, this is where I choose to raise my family and start my business and I can’t think of anything more important than supporting the Houston community in times of unforeseen hardship,” said Diaz. “If there is one thing I know is that the people of Houston are resilient and I hope this contribution is able to help those in need get back to their lives as quickly as possible.”
Diaz, along with his wife Philana have been active community members in Houston for several years. Mr. Diaz served as a Board Member for the Girl Scouts Council of San Jacinto and through his leadership, Adapt2 Solutions has been involved with Baker Ripley in the past for sponsorship of their annual Turkey Trot. Most recently, Adapt2 Solutions, on behalf of their clients, partnered with the Friends of Energy Institute, a non-profit supporting Houston Independent School District’s Energy Institute High School and National Energy Education Development (NEED) to fund and bring STEM learning opportunities to Houston area youth.
