Product Specialist

Adapt2 Solutions is seeking a Product Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. The Product Specialist will be the liaison between Adapt2’s Market Intelligence and Development Teams to shepherd market and industry trends from concepts to the enterprise software product that is ultimately delivered to all Adapt2 customers.

This exciting opportunity is open to recent graduates and industry veterans in the fields of information technology, computer science, or software engineering. Important qualities for this role include strong work ethic, ability to develop and maintain client and colleague relationships, as well as business and technical analytical skills. Candidates must be able to work independently as well as part of a larger team. Familiarity with Microsoft development platforms is helpful and expertise in Microsoft Productivity Tools is a must.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Client Service

  • Perform frontline support for consultants on Adapt2 software products
  • Install and implement Adapt2 ISO software
  • Build lasting relationships as a trusted advisor to Adapt2 clients
  • Assist product management and services in developing implementation methodology
  • Assist in services delivery where necessary to meet project milestones

System Analysis

  • Design, test, and document Adapt2 software functionality
  • Engage internal and external resources to determine product impacts from changing energy regulations
  • Become the expert and maintain deep intelligence on Adapt2 products and customer implementations

Reporting

  • Report development status and delivery metrics to key stakeholders in customer base and Adapt2 organization
  • Review ISO/RTO meeting notes weekly and summarize key upcoming changes and opportunities

Documentation

  • Develop and maintain product documentation including technical manuals, user guides, test plans, and release notes
  • Assist leadership in developing high quality marketing materials
  • Interpret technical literature on data transactions and financial information and provide tier 2 product support for complex matters

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or software engineering
  • Familiar with Microsoft C#.NET, DevExpress, Visual Studio, Azure
  • Aptitude in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Aptitude for project management
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • 25 to 40% travel may be needed on occasion

Implementation/Delivery Specialist

Adapt2 Solutions is seeking an Implementation/Delivery Specialist to join our Services team in Houston, TX. This exciting opportunity is open to college graduates with 3+  years’ experience in consulting and implementation services. Important qualities for this role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to develop and maintain client interactions to build a collaborative relationship to enhance the customer’s experience utilizing the implemented enterprise solution, and willingness to build and share technical and energy industry knowledge for personal growth and the growth of the team.  This position will require flexible hours, with occasional after-work hours as needed to meet aggressive project delivery deadlines.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Implementation and Client Service

  • Perform requirements and information gathering, analysis, and mapping of the client’s workflow and processes

  • Conduct client meetings and trainings

  • Install and implement Adapt2 ISO software

  • Focus on building lasting relationships as a trusted advisor to Adapt2 clients

  • Assist product management and services in developing implementation methodology

  • Execute timely services delivery to meet project milestones within budget to meet client expectations

  • Ensures training, cross training/knowledge transfer occurs for self, team members, across teams and clients.

System Analysis

  • Design and test Adapt2 ISO functionality implemented at client sites

  • Engage customers and project team to identify and determine product and business process impacts

  • Become customer systems expert and maintain intelligence on customer application landscape

Reporting

  • Report weekly support status and metrics to Project Management

  • Identify application issues and report the issues to the appropriate internal departments such as Support, Development Manager, and Project Manager providing accurate and complete details and proposed resolutions

Documentation

  • Develop and maintain implementation documentation including requirements documentation, technical manuals, user guides, and training guides

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology field

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem analysis skills

  • Understand written procedures, create standardized documents, and speak clearly; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions as well as provide clear multi-step written and oral instructions

  • Strong knowledge of SQL (Transact SQL and PL/SQL)

  • Background in, and willingness to develop, skills in SQL, Oracle, and other technology platforms

  • Ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly

  • Basic networking/server management functions

  • Capacity to stay cool under pressure

Solutions Support Analyst

Adapt2 Solutions is seeking a Solutions Support Analyst to join our Solutions Support team in Houston, TX. This exciting opportunity is open to college graduates with 1-2 years’ experience in the fields of technology or engineering. Important qualities for this role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to develop and maintain client interactions to build a collaborative relationship to enhance the customer’s experience utilizing the implemented enterprise solution, perform a full range of support (technical and business) tasks. This role will further develop troubleshooting abilities and the understanding of applications end to end as well as engaging and working closely with all team members. It is important to continually exhibit the willingness to build and share technical and energy industry knowledge for personal growth and the growth of the team and organization. This position will expect self-management and prioritization of their own responsibilities and may require flexible hours, with occasional after-work hours as needed.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Client Service:

  • Perform frontline support for consultants and customers using the Adapt2 ISO product
  • Must be able to perform at a tier 1 and 2 level of triage to resolve general issues and questions
  • Install, implement and configure the Adapt2 ISO software
  • Focus on building lasting relationships as a trusted advisor to Adapt2 clients
  • Assist in services delivery where necessary to meet project milestones
  • Articulate technical information to non-technical audiences in person, via written communication and via telephone

System Analysis:

  • Design, test, and seek improvements to Adapt2 ISO functionality benefiting our customers
  • Analyze data utilizing defined but different processes to problem solve independently
  • Trend recurring incidents and provide suitable long term solutions
  • Engage customers and stakeholders in regulatory committees to determine product impacts from changing regulations
  • For their assigned client responsibility, become customer systems expert and maintain intelligence on their application landscape
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, implementation/delivery, product management) to address end-user needs for the purpose of providing the best possible solution

Reporting:

  • Report weekly support status and metrics to key stakeholders in customer base and Adapt2 organization
  • Review with internal resources the ISO/RTO stakeholder meeting notes weekly and summarize key upcoming changes and opportunities and identify impacts for each applicable client
  • Keep management informed of discovered trending issues

Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain product documentation including technical manuals, user guides, and release notes
  • Develop a broad set of technical and “soft” skills, with the potential to specialize in one or more reporting topics
  • Interpret and apply applicable technical literature in analyzing transactions or financial information and act as a resources on more complex matters

C# .NET Developer

Adapt2 Solutions is seeking a C# Developer to join our Development team in Houston, TX. This exciting opportunity is open to college graduates with 5+ years’ of C#/.NET development. Important qualities for this role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, who is highly-logical, and has an extremely strong aptitude for data analysis, deductive reasoning, hypothesis testing, gap identification, rules interpretation, ability to use information to drive decision making to enhance the customer’s experience utilizing the implemented enterprise solution, and willingness to continually exhibit the desire to build and share technical and energy industry knowledge for personal growth and the growth of the team and organization.  This position will require flexible hours, with occasional after-work hours as needed to meet agressive project delivery deadlines.

 

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
  • Active participation in data design, software coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and installation to a production environment in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal standards procedures and methodologies.
  • Collaborative Agile development on a Scrum Team with experience functioning in the full software life cycle development process
  • Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems found during deployment and utilizing of the solution
  • Execute on quality related tasks by participating in code reviews and automated unit tests, to ensure that each feature is delivered with the highest quality
  • Debugging and identifying C# and WPF code causing the issue and reporting the same to quality assurance analyst (QA)
  • Development of high quality software within agreed timescales and as designed

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Dev Express WPF
  • Python for Machine Learning/AI is a plus
  • Containerization a plus.
